Postby Jo on Mon Feb 14, 2005 9:17 pm

I think it would be a good idea to organise a UK Meeting this year so the British fans of the mysetry can put a face to the forum names!

Sign up here with location suggestions!

Anyone interested? :D :?:

Morning Miss Jo

I'm sure I could be talked into finding my way to the meeting. I've only just stumbled my way onto the boards, but would definately be a cool idea. As for locations, i'm never really that far from anywhere, so I guess the choice is being left upto you :)

Hi Jay,

Nice to see you on the forum. There are only a few of us UK based Oak Island fanatics but it would be good to all meet up in person and enjoy a heated debate over a pint or two!

When did you first become interested in the mystery?

Hiya Jo,

There's about 20 or so of us Oak Island fans down here on the south coast that would love to meet with others.

Wherever you decide to meet I just hope its not too far up North.

Hi Monk,

Were abouts are you down south? Perhaps Brighton could be a possible location. I live in Hertfordshire so it wouldn't be too difficult to get the Thameslink train line through London to the south coast.

Do let me know where you are then we can try and plan the most geographically aimicable position!

Hi Jo,

I am myself based in Bournemouth and a few others are scattered between Weymouth and Southampton so Brighton definately sounds good. Actually anywhere below London is not really a problem.

Excellent - thanks for letting me know.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to wait until the springtime as I don't fancy a walk along the promenade much in this icy weather!!

I'll keep you informed.
