oak island Italian documentry

Postby Ghost of Oak Island on Wed May 27, 2009 11:15 pm

Hi All

I now have the DVD of the Italian documentary made not long ago. I have been giving permission to show it at my home but it will be a one time deal. Unfortunately the only time I have this year is on Thursday June 18th at 6:30- 7 O’clock. I have limited seating in my house so anyone interested please e-mail me at dgblank@ns.sympatico.ca First come first served bases. I have the un-cut version and the one that made Italian T.V. One is about an hour the other is about 1/2 hour. We will be serving Oak Island wine but if you want something else please feel free to bring it.

G,

Great put me down for that viewing too please.

Also for those interested in getting together at Mo's for supper prior to that....arriving at 4:00P.M.- 4:30P.M. for beverages of your choice and ordering/eating at 5:00P.M. PM me and let me know if you are interested. There is a consideration for ordering lobsters and will keep everyone posted with that regard. Otherwise it'll be from the menu.

3 weeks to go and counting!

Hey BI,

Whereabouts is Mo's? I'm not finding anything on the Internet about the restaurant. Do you have a street address for it?

Thanks!

Sorry, nevermind...

A little more Web surfing turned up the restaurant info:

Mo's Grill & Dining Room

Mo's Grill and Dining Room is a wonderful place to eat as it provides amazing food at a reasonable price. Whether patrons are looking for local seafood or a lebanese dish, this is the place to dine.

Pretty much down the road from the resort. As your leaving the resort take a right and its on the left. Good food lots of it and good prices too. I pretty much am on a seafood diet while I am there. The resort has a great all you can eat breakfast buffet every morning if you can get up on time. I think its under 10$ or around 10$. Hope to see you there! I will be the quiet shrinking violet sitting in the corner somewhere.

Hi,

I am travelling with a friend and therefore cannot give a fixed time when I'll be rolling in. I am hoping before 6:30. So, what is the time for the supper at Mo's, ...is it still 4:30? I guess I am just a "wanna b" right now...lol.

I'll catch up to y'all at some point anyways.

I am also counting the days.

Nothing better than fresh seafood - count me in! I'll be at Mo's by 4:30pm, but I'll need to eat quickly and leave early to make the 6pm members only tour of the island. I missed the tour last year and I've looked forward to it for months. So I'll seize the chance to visit with everyone at Mo's, but I'll have to locate a copy of the documentary at some later date. Gives me a chance to work on my Italian...you know, beyond words that appear on a menu. :)

Looking forward to seeing everyone,

Warren
