This story is related to Oak Island, tentatively mind you, but a connection none the less. Charles Morris house (built 1764) is being moved across town in Halifax where it will become a home for youth.
“Big deal” says you and you may be excused for saying so, but Charles Morris was the Survey General for the Province of Nova Scotia and it was he who designated Oak Island as island number 28 after a major survey 1762 - 1765.
