My little EOID video

Postby Jo on Thu Jun 25, 2009 11:16 pm

I've spent this evening putting together some video and photos from last week's Explore Oak Island Days. It's a bit 'quick and dirty', but I thought you would like to see it:

I'm going to do another one with more forum people over the weekend, so we can *really* see what happened in the Rum Room, gain insights into the Wagner/Sayer triangle, understand the significance of the Maxwell Cross, and really get to the bottom of that mysterious bucket handle!

Hope you like the video, and the music is 'The Saga of the Oak Island Money Pit' :)

Hey Jo:

Cool video, especially the island shots. It had me bouncing in front of my keyboard. Who was the music sound track from?

A couple from Dartmouth sent me the track. It was the only suitable thing I had in iTunes to place with the video. Glad you liked it!

You kidding? I put some on my sausages at the Resort (much to Miranda's disgust) Sunday morning. Then used it again on a hot dog on the CAT ferry on Tuesday. And tonight I rubbed it (lightly, mind you) on some sirloin steaks before BBQing them. Marks & Spencer's hot English mustard is da bomb, baby! Thanks ever so much Jo.

Thanks Shari, there are more photos to come over the weekend.

I had a wonderful time and am indebted to the owners of Oak Island and the Oak Island Tourism Society for allowing and arranging such a great weekend! Roll on EOID10 :)

Jo,

Alas, you have put me to shame! You already have video footage of EOID '09 up and running and I haven't even finished my videos from EOID '06, '07, or '08!

Thanks for sharing.

I'll happily edit it for you, if you can get it to me?

I may just take you up on that offer if/when I can remember where I last saw them, which was quite some time ago, possibly posing somewhat of a problem.
