About 8 miles north of St Albans just outside a village called Wheathampstead.

Please don't stalk me though! :)

Drake.

Cool another Brit on the forum.
If you have any questions about Oak Island this is the only site worth looking at in all honesty, OK i`ve been here for a little while and made loads of new friends and been to OI so i guess you may think me biased, I am however not.
As with many mysteries there will always be crack pots and loons on the fringes, they come and they go, once you realise the wealth of knowledge that can be found here you will be hooked.
We are extremely lucky here as we have many highly regarded OI experts as regular posters and some with amazing research powers and even friends of the people who actually own the island, many of the authors of the most recent books on OI (D`Arcy O`Conner, Graham Harris, Les MacPhie, Petter Amundsen) all post here, wanted the truth about OI, your in the right place.

Have fun.......Vincent.
Quick pass me a spade! I`ve had another idea.

My that is close to me. :)

However, rest assurred Jo, I will not be stalking you.

That's not me at all. My interests in this site are purely academical.

I've spent all my life in Watford (numbering a few ...ahem... ..years now) so I've probably been through Wheathampstead once or twice.

We're almost neighbours considering the chat forum world at large. :)

And thanks for the advice Vincent, much appreciated. :)

Drake,

I'm guessing you took that name because of Francis Drake? Welcome to the OITF! Hope you enjoy your time here. :)

I guess I should have introduced myself here before I just jumped right in. I actually didn't even see this thread until just now.....lol. Anyway, I have been following this mystery for awhile but am no expert by any means. By nature I tend to question everything and am always intrigued by mysteries. I love history and do my best to research before opening my mouth. I'm from California but have been all over the country for one reason or another. If there is anyhting I can do to help anyone out, I am usually more than happy to help as long as it is reasonable. I don't like wasting time but thats about it. Any questions for me?

westonjimmy,

Any questions for me?

I have already welcomed you here on another thread, but since you offered....

A couple of times now you have mentioned being quite busy and it got me to wandering what it is you do that keeps you so busy, work, wife, hobbies, kids, growing marijuana? Enquiring minds need to know.
