Canadian Travel Advice Needed!

Postby Jo on Wed Feb 23, 2005 3:34 pm

Does anyone know of a good place to look for cheap flights to Canada? I find Air Canada to be very expensive and was wondering whether there was a cheap alternative or good website anyone could recommend?

Many thanks for your help,

Jo

Jo, have a look at:

http://www.flyzoom.ca/

Without knowing where you want to fly from/to, or dates, I set up a fictitious travel itinerary (Gatwick - Halifax, NS - Gatwick) in June/05 at Air Canada's site and got flights at £358. The exact same dates at zoom.ca came in at £119.

My wife, Jan, who enjoys travel very much, suggested zoom.ca. We have not used it, so we cannot vouch for its service, but the price seems much more decent.

Jan also suggests KLM, although I didn't check flights on their site.

jO,

I'm told Travelocity.com is good too.

The Zoom website is excellent - I can't believe I've not heard of this airline before! I had been looking at fares in the region of 600 so this is an incredible saving. Many thanks!
